Dallas isn't really interested in the things that most of his peers are doing. He does not engage in social media nor does he own a television. Dallas knows a limited amount about current social and political affairs. It's not that he doesn't care, it's that his consciousness is beyond that of most people living in his age, propelling his thoughts forward into a lifestyle of peace, love and growth. In his constant state of understanding and serenity, events in the outside world seem irrelevant to Dallas.
